Exploring, Being and Acting.  Be your true Self!

An inner journey of self-exploration in combination with acting a character’s life

What is the meaning of my life?

"When you begin to realize that the power to do anything, to be anything, to have anything, is within yourself, then and only then you will go and take your proper place in the world."

In this transformative 5 day workshop 'Exploring, Being and Acting' we invite you on a (inner) journey of exploration to unplug from the complexity of daily life, and connect to your voice inside. You will be exploring your own life story, learning about your potential, connecting with your dreams and finding purpose. Understanding how to be your true authentic self by letting go of who you think you should be and taking ownership of your life.

In the morning, Gert-Jan de Hoon will work with you with creative exercises and storytelling and you will take walks through the town of Vienna.

What is the meaning of a character's life in a scene?

"Giving birth to a character in a script is like exploring your own life- the differences are the circumstances, the people and live events."

You lived your life and you know about your circumstances and so does the character. You, as an actor, have to explore the circumstances of the character you're playing and work with your own emotions and your body.

In the afternoon, Christin Amy Artner will guide you how to write your own scenes and play your own character. In the second half of the workshop she will teach you how to work on existing characters and scenes. Scenes will be recorded and analyzed.
